Robin Hood

This is a high-energy original adaptation of the classic Robin Hood tale. The whole family is invited to help Robin Hood and his Merry Men save Maid Marion while the sheriff of Nottingham and her absent-minded side kick, Matilda, plot to capture Robin Hood and destroy the Kingdom.


The Frog Prince

The classic tale retold in a fun musical adaptation that is sure to please the whole audience. Everyone is part of the story as this wild group of hilarious characters come together to break the curse of the frog prince.


Christmas Sing-Along Pajama Party

Everyone comes together, in our best Christmas pajamas to sing our favorite Christmas carols, listen to classic Christmas stories, and help two polar bears make it back to the North Pole. With special guest appearance from you-know-who.

Bringing Children's Literature to Life
February 7, 2010
Bring your favorite book to Live Theatre Workshop and watch the characters jump of the pages and onto our stage. Everyone is invited to bring a short children's book, and we will select a few to perform on the spot. As your books are read, a team of actors will improvise a performance and bring the story to life. With special guests Robin Hood and Maid Marian. This event is free to the public, but space is limited and reservations are highly recommended. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Valentine's Craft and Performance Party
February 14, 2010
This time the kids are the performers as the get up on the stage to create a Valentine's gift for you. Everyone will work together with a group of teaching artists to create a Valentine's craft and put together a short musical performance for everyone to enjoy. Kids will work side by side with King Arthur and Merlina the Wizard. This is a fun event that allows kids to participate at whatever level they are comfortable. Adults are encouraged to join in the fun. This event is free to the public, but space is limited and reservations are highly recommended. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Children's Rockin' Dance Party with live music by Candy on a Snack Tray February 21 AND March 14, 2010
Live Theatre Workshop invites everyone to join us for a live childrenŐs musical event. Introducing a new kid's rock band, Candy on a Snack Tray, who plays rockin' version of classic kids songs and hilarious original children's music. The whole family is invited to come up on the stage to rock out and dance to some of our favorite songs. With special appearance by Sleeping Beauty and Catonia the Cat. This event is free to the public, but space is limited and reservations are highly recommended. All children must be accompanied by and adult.

Wild Things

Stan needs help making new friends, and it comes from an unlikely source. Wild Thing, Good Thing, and Funny Thing crash into Stan's room and take him on a hilarious friend-finding mission. Their adventure leads them through the universe, to Mars, and under the sea where they meet Professor Picklenoodle, a Broadway bound octopus and Pablo DaVinci, an eccentric painting squid.


Rockin' Cinderella

The Cinderella story takes a ride into the 1950's in this musical adaptation of a tale we've all come to love. Join this great cast of characters in a jive-hopin' malt shop party and help Cinderella find her totally awesome prince.
