New and seasoned performing artists are invited to submit by August 31, 2020, original scripts and project/show proposals for Live Theatre Workshop’s 2020-2021 Etcetera Late-Night Series. Is there something you have been wanting to produce? Please submit scripts and proposals to Ally Tanzillo at etcetera@livetheatreworkshop.org Proposals will be accepted and reviewed through August 31st. We will select and work with 3 - 4 proposals to work out production details and contracts.

Etcetera shows have a short run, typically one or two nights and occupy the late-night slot (9:30pm Saturday night and 6:30 Sunday night) in the Live Theatre Workshop lineup. Each performance is approximately one hour long, and in the spirit of being accessible to the community, tickets are $10. Producers and artists are paid a stipend, given a small production budget, rehearsal and performance space, and ticketing and marketing support.

LTW and Etcetera in particular are committed to producing shows that reflect the community and provide a platform for different perspectives. We have always produced original and community-derived works featuring local actors and other artists. We are specifically looking for works that reflect BIPOC and queer perspectives.

Etcetera has worked closely with UA students, high school theatre programs, and cultural organizations to produce an eclectic mix of theatre and music that is relevant to our community. We are looking to continue that tradition by providing a platform for local artists.
