Meet Our Board

Dave Sewell
Dave Sewell has been active in the Tucson theatre scene since 1995 as playwright, director, actor, set designer, grant writer, board member, stage tech, and teacher. A native of Los Angeles, Dave holds a degree in Theatre (directing emphasis) from University of California, Riverside, where he studied under Jules Aaron and Rick Risso. He has directed nearly thirty full stage productions in his native Southern California and in Arizona. In addition to LTW, Dave has served on the boards of Desert Players, Tucson Theatre Ensemble (founding member), and Old Pueblo Playwrights (President and Vice President/Treasurer).

Cynthia Robison
Cindy, retired from the University of Arizona as an Assistant Comptroller and is currently using her accounting background to support LTW as the Treasurer of the Board. She became affiliated with Live Theatre Workshop in Fall 1999 when her daughter started classes because drama/theatre classes were not available at her Jr High. Shortly thereafter, they began seeing shows and Cindy started ushering, volunteering at the box office and eventually joining the Board of Directors where she has served on and off over the past 25 years. Cindy is very proud to be associated with LTW and its goal of creating a diverse, inclusive, thriving arts community, especially its focus on making live theatre accessible.

Mary McAllister
Mary McAllister discovered LTW during Covid, when her son became one of their many happy campers. A lifelong theatre enthusiast, she is thrilled to join the board and contribute to the dynamic collaboration that drives the organization. Mary brings experience in nonprofit management, human resources, digital marketing, and hospitality—but most of all, a deep belief that live performance brings people together in powerful ways. She is excited to roll up her sleeves and help LTW cultivate its mission to entertain, educate, and inspire.

James Cramton
James has enjoyed watching his youngest child grow up as a part of the LTW community for more than a decade, and is proud to be able to support LTW as a board member. Over his 30 year career, James has worked as information technologist in a variety of industries, and is currently an identity and access management professional serving higher education. An avid cyclist and trail runner, James is also a past president of Southern Arizona Rocketry Association, and the founder of Rocketry Works, an educational model rocketry retailer in Tucson from 2018 - 2023. James loves teaching science, engineering, creativity, organizational skills, and teamwork through model rocketry.

Margaret Barber
Margaret Barber became part of the LTW family via her daughter’s involvement in the Children’s Theatre. She has found it a joy to watch her daughters’ journey through the years with the great friends she has made. Her background in the arts (fine art and graphic design), education, and massage therapy have made for a meaningful and diverse career. For fun she plays bass guitar and sings in a couple of bands. She also has a crazy dog with a wonderful underbite and a love for dressing up.

Rachel Cramton
Rachel Cramton is a professor of clinical pediatrics and a practicing pediatric hospitalist and palliative care provider at Banner University Medical Center-Diamond Children’s. Rachel was raised performing and watching theater, thanks to free tickets provided to Philadelphia public school students, and a father who thought cooking for a community dinner theater sounded like fun. Together with fellow board member James, Rachel is raising another thespian who has spent the last decade learning and performing at Live Theatre Workshop. Rachel is ecstatic to be able to give back to LTW as a Board Member, to ensure the continued success of this warm, welcoming place for theater lovers of all ages.

Kelly Holt
For over two decades, Kelly Holt wore many hats at Live Theatre Workshop: parent, staff, advocate, and Board Member. Kelly started her nonprofit career providing administrative support in the LTW education program. From the early days of supporting families and watching her own children grow through her technical work grantseeking to sustain the theatre’s mission, Kelly’s impact with LTW is broad. Currently serving as the Chief Development Officer at the Amerind Museum, her career is dedicated to fostering connections and philanthropy towards a stronger more vibrant community through arts, culture, and opportunities for all. Her community leadership helps support professional fundraising excellence through volunteer roles with Planned Giving Roundtable of Southern Arizona, Association of Fundraising Professionals Southern Arizona Chapter, Bisbee Council on the Arts and Humanities, Arizona Public Media, and serving as a grant reviewer with several organizations. With previous roles at the University of Arizona Foundation and U of A’s James E. Rogers College of Law, Kelly brings a wealth of expertise and a lifelong passion for arts and education to the LTW Board.
