Superstistions by Emmalynn Whitney

The Thespians Curse (Or Blessing) - Ashlynn Gillis
The play humorously explores the origin of the theater superstition “Break a leg.” When characters repeatedly warn against saying “good luck,” chaos and backstage disasters erupt. Through clumsy mishaps, strict rule-enforcing, and playful arguments, the group realizes that using a negative phrase avoids tempting fate. By the end, “Break a leg” becomes a clever workaround and a lasting theater tradition.

What Waits Inside the Woods by Carter Oswalt
When a deadly illness spreads through his village, Doctor Charles Fortin journeys into a mysterious forest in search of a wish-granting god. Along the way, he faces strange creatures, painful memories, and one final test that forces him to choose between revenge and mercy.

White Lies for the End of the World by Alex Cramton
As a great flood approaches, a flock of sheep must decide which ram and ewe will board Noah’s Ark and carry on their species. But when one sharp-witted ewe is faced with a parade of terrible suitors, the future of sheep-kind becomes a hilariously chaotic question of love, survival, and very bad options.
