Ignite your students' creativity with the power of theatre!

Student Matinees

We couldn’t be more excited to announce our 2025-2026 Season! There is nothing like the experience of seeing a live performance, and Live Theatre Workshop has multiple shows available per year.

 

We create thoughtful, entertaining, interactive original plays that are filled with adventure and laughter geared towards Kindergarten – 8th graders. 
 

Bring your school to our beautiful campus for an experience your students will never forget.
 

We are located on Fort Lowell, between Country Club and Dodge. We have a large parking lot with plenty of space for buses. Once on our campus, enjoy a live production on our beautiful Children’s Theatre Stage, and watch as your student’s imagination takes flight. And if that’s not enough, we include a questions and answer session with the performers, writers, composers, and technical artists who produce these shows.

Workshops & Artists in Residence

Give your students the chance to shine with our fun, hands-on theatre workshops! Through dance, music, improv games, and other creative activities, students learn teamwork, self-expression, and confidence while discovering what it’s like to be performers themselves.

Can’t make it to our theatre? We can bring the magic to you! For over 20 years, LTW’s Artists in Residence program has partnered with schools in Tucson—from preschool through high school—to connect theatre directly to the classroom. Whether it’s team building, strengthening reading skills, or tying into your curriculum, our teaching artists create meaningful experiences that inspire students of all ages.

Pricing and Info

  • Student Matinees: $10 per seat (scholarships available)

  • Capacity: Up to 90 individuals in our intimate theatre space

  • Workshops: Educational workshops start at $70 per hour and can be added to your visit for a fully immersive theatre experience

  • Artists in Residence: Bring LTW directly to your classroom for custom theatre-based learning experiences

  • Availability: Reservations are first come, first served
