Why families choose Live Theatre Workshop camps

Live Theatre Workshop runs engaging drama camps in Tucson that combine skill-building with the fun of creating a full production. Students learn acting fundamentals, collaboration, stage presence, and storytelling in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Whether your child is brand new to theatre or already loves performing, our acting camps meet students where they are. Campers get to experience the full process from rehearsal to performance while building confidence, communication skills, and a strong sense of community.

Students practice age-appropriate acting technique, voice and movement, character work, ensemble collaboration, and performance readiness. Most sessions include rehearsal time that leads toward a final sharing or performance experience, so students can celebrate what they learned on stage.

Education Refund and Cancellation Policy

  • If a class or camp cancellation is requested prior to 2 weeks before the first day of the class or camp, tuition minus a $50 cancellation fee, will be refunded.

  • If a class or camp cancellation is requested less than two weeks before the first day of class or camp, tuition will not be refunded but can be redeemed as a credit to another program offering within one year of initial date of purchase. Enrollment is dependent upon availability.

  • If a class or camp cancellation is requested on or after the first day of class or camp, tuition will not be refunded. Registration holds a student’s spot in a program, making it unavailable for other students to register for that spot. We hope your class is a great fit, but if on or after the first day of class you choose not to continue, tuition will not be refunded but can be redeemed as a credit to another program offering within the same session. Enrollment is dependent upon availability.

  • If it is necessary to cancel due to illness, tuition will not be refunded but can be redeemed as a credit to another program offering within one year of initial date of purchase. Enrollment is dependent upon availability.

  • If Live Theatre Workshop cancels a class before the first day of programming, tuition will be fully refunded.

  • If Live Theatre Workshop must cancel a class during the term, tuition will be divided by the number of class days. A refund equivalent to the value of the cancelled days will be refunded.
