About the Show

Our protagonist,  an ordinary kid,  has placed upon himself the task of a lifetime: Adapting his family’s classic turkey sandwich recipe into something of his own. But don’t be mistaken, this isn’t some easy feat. It proves to be quite the challenge as he finds himself spiraling down old childhood memories. The kind of which many of us can relate to: Being made fun of on live television, communication issues with your imaginary girlfriend, and catching your camp counselor in a deep emotional conversation with his best friend who is also a sock puppet. You know… classic, standard, childhood stuff. He doesn’t know it yet, but each memory will eventually tie into his own journey of self acceptance and growth. 

Funny, relatable, and deliciously heartfelt, this coming-of-age comedy reminds us that life, like the perfect sandwich, may start and end simply, but it’s the messy, unpredictable middle that makes it all worth it.
