About the Show
It’s 1981 in America, and Trevor Nelson is busy navigating adolescence in suburbia while dreaming of a life in show business. When an embarrassing incident at school suddenly puts him in the wrong spotlight, Trevor must summon the courage to forge his own path. A deeply moving and funny story of self-discovery and the power of acceptance, Trevor is about living your best life with a ton of passion… and a touch of pizzazz.The musical Trevor is Based On An Original Story by Celeste Lecesne and The Academy Award-Winning Film, Directed By Peggy Rajski and Produced by Randy Stone. Trevor is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.

Meet the Cast

Eli Sallard
(Trevor)
Eli Sallard, is an eighteen-year-old graduate from Empire High School going into Pima Community College to continue to pursue the performing arts. They developed a strong love and passion for the arts after their first musical performances in high school, both in choir and theater, during their freshman year. Some of Eli’s favorite past performances that they’ve been a part of have been The Wolf (INTO THE WOODS), Anna of Cleves (SIX: TEEN EDITION), Francis and Ryan Summers U/S (RANKED, A NEW MUSICAL), Rupert Van Brunt (SLEEPY HOLLOW), Lysander (Midsummer High School) and Percy Jackson (THE LIGHTNING THIEF). While portraying the role of Percy Jackson, Eli was nominated for the 2025 Monte Awards, competing for the possibility to perform at the Jimmy Awards in New York. Eli would like to thank their theatre director, Richard Gremel, and choir director, Aubry Wilkes, for their constant support and relentless encouragement throughout their journey towards achieving their goals. They would also like to express their deepest gratitude to their friends and family for their overwhelming support and love. Their constant presence at their shows means the world to them.

Kellen Tanner
(Walter)
Kellen Tanner (He/Him) is ecstatic to be involved with his second musical experience with LTW! His favorite past show at LTW has been RANKED (Ryan). He has been able to play many roles across many different theater companies, but he always is excited for LTW because of the supportive community of theater teens. He has been acting since a very young age, and originally found LTW in elementary school, but never decided to look into auditioning for the real shows until last year. He is super excited for you all to see this year’s teenage musical, Trevor.

Jack Berbach
(Pinky)
Jack Bersbach is thrilled to play the role of Pinky in Trevor! His past credits include: Jack (Into the Woods), Orpheus (Hadestown), Beetlejuice (Beetlejuice jr.), Sasha/Ensemble (Fiddler on the Roof), and Mush (Newsies). Jack is going into his Senior year at Empire High School where he is proud to be a part of troupe 7057, and a part of Raven Rhapsody. He would like to thank his family and his friends for being so supportive over the past few years.

Jadyn Gillete
(Cathy)
Jadyn Gillette is an upcoming Senior attending Empire High School as her Thespian Troupe’s President, participating in advanced tech and drama classes. Some of her favorite roles include Lily Larson (Ranked a Musical), Little Red Riding Hood (Into the Woods), Katherine Howard (Six the Musical: Teen Edition), Annabeth Chase (The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical), and many more. Jadyn is so excited to show you something new. She’s been working really hard to break out of her comfort zone in this performance and can’t wait for you to see it.

Sydney Johnson
(Frannie)
Sydney Johnson, she/her, is delighted to be a part of Trevor. Some of her favorite roles include Cinderella in INTO THE WOODS, Clarisse in THE LIGHTNING THIEF, and Catherine of Aragon in SIX: TEEN EDITION, Carly in RANKED, A MUSICAL and she has been an actor and techie in Young Playwrights of Tucson for the last two years. She has loved getting to work with every member of the cast and crew and she hopes you enjoy the show!

Cooper Stacy

My name is Cooper Stacy and I am a 15 year old high school student. I have been performing as an actor, singer, and musician for the last 5 years. I have recently added dance to my repertoire in an effort to broaden my talents for theater. I enrolled in a Musical Theater class at Cienega High School with a passion for Contemporary and Tap dance. I enjoy being on stage and directing. I made my debut as a student director this last fall with my production of "Romeo and Juliet in 10 Minutes" with the Desert Crown Theater Company. I love the creativity that fine arts offers and I plan on continuing my education in fine arts in high school. I also plan on attending a fine arts program in college to meet my post secondary goals. I aspire to be a Broadway actor/performer.

Edna Cabrera
(Diana Ross)
Edan Cabrera is a senior in advanced drama at Empire High School. She's acted in shows and musicals with some of her favorite roles being various characters in QUEST and the Baker's Wife Understudy for Into the Woods. She'd love to thank everyone who has contributed to the show to make it as iconic as it is– but especially her lovely friends Katie, Danna, Anita, and all the new ones she's made along the way. Danna Maldonado-Munoz, she/her, is so glad to be performing at live theater workshop. It is her first time performing here and she is very happy to be making new friends and having this new experience. Danna’s past performances include; INTO THE WOODS (jack’s Mom understudy), MEAN GIRLS (Janis), BEAUTY AND THE BEAST JR (Ensemble), DEAR EDWINA (Lars and Lola), HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL (ensemble), FINDING NEMO JR (Peach the starfish). Greyson Pfannenstiel is a graduated student, who is currently enrolled in Northern Arizona University . He has been present in the LTW space for 4 years now, having played roles like Viv in last year’s Ranked: A Musical , as well as numerous roles in LTW’s camps like King Arthur in Spamalot or Pugsley in the Adams Family. He is incredibly passionate about this show and is excited to be a part of it!

Nicholas Waszkiewicz is an 11th grade student at Canyon del Oro High School and is excited to be part of Trevor: The Musical. His previous roles include Minstrel in Once Upon a Mattress and Toby in Sweeney Todd. He enjoys using theatre to tell meaningful stories and bring characters to life on stage. Tenley Williams is very excited to participate in this production of Trevor: the Musical! They are eighteen years old, and go to Canyon Del Oro high school. In their free time, they like to play The Sims 4, write, and listen to music. Some of Tenley’s favorite past shows have been PUFFS (Hannah), CLUE: ON STAGE (Cook/Singing Telegram Girl), and MAMMA MIA! (Ensemble) with the Canyon Players, as well as OLIVER! (Mr. Bumble), and NEWSIES (Oscar Delancey) with CYT Tucson! They’d like to thank their parents, who have supported them through every production from the age of eleven to now.

Braeley McIntire, they/she, is about to be a senior at Empire High school. Some of her favorite roles include Anna of Cleves in QUEENS, Pinocchio in Shrek Jr, and Granny in Into the Woods. Max Landon is a rising junior at the Gregory School, and is thrilled to be taking part in Trevor after several other shows with LTW. Favorite past roles include Nick Bottom in Something Rotten! Jr. and Jonathan Harker in Dracula, and he's also dabbled in some sound design. He'd like to give sincere thanks to you for coming to see the show and supporting his dream!

Anita Osakwe-Anderson
(Todd)
Anita Osakwe-Anderson has the honor of playing Todd in Trevor: the Musical. In the past, she has had the privilege of playing an array of characters in a production titled Page to Stage, lit up the stage in the comedy production Quest, and took part in the large ensemble for Empire High Schools production of Into the Woods. Anita fell in love with acting Sophomore year and also enjoys hanging out with friends and family after shows.

August Overstreet is a sophomore at Empire High School and is beyond excited to be a part of his first-ever community theater production. He has teched for numerous shows and has played roles such as Wonka (Willy Wonka Jr.), Dan Devine (Sam Shovel), and Shakespeare (Romeo and Juliet, among others), as well as ensemble roles in a number of productions. Violette Burge
(Lindsay, U/S Mary)
Violette Burge, 15, a rising sophomore at Salpointe Catholic High School, is thrilled to perform in Live Theatre Workshop’s Trevor: The Musical as a featured ensemble member and understudy for Mary. Violette recently completed a fun-filled freshman year, appearing in Salpointe’s productions of Bright Star and Peter and the Starcatcher, as well as CYT Tucson’s The Little Mermaid. Previous favorite roles include Lina Lamont in Singin’ in the Rain, Morticia in The Addams Family, Jafar in Aladdin, Princess Adella in The Little Mermaid, and Hortensia in Matilda. She has also performed as a lead dancer and in featured supporting roles in The Sound of Music and SpongeBob with CYT Tucson. Outside of theater, Violette is the founder of Citrus Ink Creative and the writer/director of the student film QM14, currently in production this summer. She will also appear in the film as “Soldier” and hopes to premiere a behind-the-scenes documentary about the making of the project at this year’s Southern Arizona Festival of Theatre (SAFT) this fall. A fan of mysteries, writing, and music, Violette loves performing and building lasting friendships with her cast mates.

Harmony Garner

Harmony Garner is starting her 10th school year, and has been doing theater classes for almost 4 years now. Her favorite roles have been Cronan in CRONAN: THE BARBARIAN, Carly in RANKED, and Opera house manager in PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. Katie Howell is a junior in advanced drama at Empire High School. She has been a part of plays and musicals with her favorite roles being Rapunzel in Into the Woods, playing various roles in Page to Stages Volume 15, and the Annabeth Understudy in the Lightning Thief Musical. She would love to thank her family for being so amazing, her friends for being icons, and everyone who came together and gave so much time and energy to make the production possible. Kyle Lukas (Ensemble, U/S Cathy) is thrilled to be a part of TREVOR at Live Theater Workshop! Previous roles she’s played includes: Delia (BEETLEJUICE Jr), Jan (GREASE), and Caitlyn (CAMP ROCK). She is going into her freshman year at Tucson High where she’s excited to participate in theater. She would love to thank her Mom, Brother, Felicity, and Alina for being her biggest supporters over the years.

Zane Burge
(Ensemble)
Zane Burge, 12, a rising seventh grader at Orange Grove Middle School, is excited to perform in Live Theatre Workshop’s Trevor: The Musical as a featured ensemble member. Zane recently completed a theater-packed year, appearing as Flounder in CYT Tucson’s The Little Mermaid and Noah Claypole in Oliver!. Previous favorite roles include Pugsley in The Addams Family, Omar in Aladdin, and the Bishop of Arendelle in Frozen. He has also performed in featured singing and dancing ensemble roles in Singin’ in the Rain, The Sound of Music, and SpongeBob. Outside of theater, Zane plays the trombone and enjoys singing, art, writing, reading, wrestling, and baseball. He also loves cooking, spending time with family and friends, and creating fun and imaginative social media content.
