Jr Players: Musical Theatre Ensemble

An advanced musical theatre performance class for students in 6th–12th grade.

Is your student ready for a more challenging and performance-focused theatre experience? Do they love musical theatre and want to take their skills to the next level? Then this exciting class is the perfect fit. Designed for dedicated young performers, this class gives students the opportunity to rehearse and perform in a more professional-style musical theatre production while strengthening their acting, singing, and movement abilities.

Students will dive deeply into character development, script and lyric analysis, vocal performance, choreography, and ensemble storytelling while learning what it takes to fully commit to a role throughout the rehearsal process. Emphasis is placed on collaboration, rehearsal discipline, stage presence, and creating meaningful performances as a team. Throughout the semester, performers will work together to produce a full musical theatre production presented for family, friends, and the public.
