Teen Acting Lab

An advanced acting performance class for students in 6th–12th grade.

Ready to take your acting skills to the next level? This class is designed for students who want to deepen their understanding of character work, scene study, and stage performance in a focused and collaborative environment. Performers will strengthen their acting technique through script analysis, character development, improvisation, partner work, and ensemble-based storytelling.

Students will learn how to break down scenes using acting tools such as objectives, intentions, beats, and emotional connection while building confidence, stage presence, and performance discipline. Because the class runs for a full semester, instructors are able to work closely with each student to help them grow individually as performers while also developing strong ensemble skills.

Throughout the semester, students will rehearse and prepare a fully staged non-musical performance to share with family, friends, and the public.
